About this team  

The North America Brand Creative Operations team is a partner to the Brand Creative team and is tasked with enabling best-in-class brand storytelling and creative experiences. This team owns operationalizing the creative process to deliver creative campaigns and initiatives.  

  

Reporting to the Sr Manager, NA Creative Operations, Planning, this role is responsible for Planning & Resourcing all work on behalf of NA Brand Creative team.  

  

A day in the life  

The Creative Operations Manager, Planning is responsible for all operational plans related to creative resourcing for internal and external creatives and agency partners. They partner with multiple areas of the business to understand all asks and ensure appropriate teams are cast and assigned. They will implement processes for the team, supporting a culture of excellence and the values of the creative team. 

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Work with Sr Manager on strategic resource planning, forecasting and project prioritization to meet current and future Brand Marketing calendar needs.   

  • Own creative project intake, ensuring project and timeline clarity for resource planning, and project data tracking via project management tool, Monday.com.   

  • Inform creative casting for internal & external resource plan for alignment with Creative Directors. Responsible for delivering resourcing scenarios against the Brand Marketing calendar, resourcing escalations, risk management and reporting.  

  • Manage and report internal & external creative capacity via resourcing tool, Forecast. Support with transition planning for team leaves, vacation, resignations and maintain discretion and confidentiality.  

  • Manage creative freelance roster, including recruitment, interviews, rate negotiations, contract and relationship management, vendor onboarding. Maintain robust and aligned roster across art direction, design, copy, production design, and motion editing.  

  • Manage creative agency roster, including vetting and initial reach outs, vendor onboarding, NDA & MSA contract management, relationship management. Maintain diversified roster to support with creative scalability across varying expertise needs. 

  • Work cross-functionally with Creative Leads, Studio Creative Operations, Brand Management & Operations.   

  • Support development of Annual Operating Plan against Brand Marketing calendar and Brand Creative priorities.   

  • Support implementation of processes that drive resource prioritization, health and wellbeing of the creative team, and team engagement.  

  • Own day-day Brand Creative department budget, including PO creation and invoice tracking via Smartsheet and Coupa. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 5-7 years of experience in Creative Operations or Creative Project Management   
  • Experience working with external creative and production partners  
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and large project volume 
  • Creative agency experience an asset   
  • Positive approach to problem solving through analytical thinking and operational efficacy  
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, with project changes, and reliably meet deadlines  
  • A genuine passion for brand creative and creative operations; track record instilling operational excellence for a creative team  
  • Must be a self-starter, critical thinker, team player, thrives working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, organized, detail oriented, collaborative, and flexible
