We are seeking a strategic and executional driver of art direction + creative output for our Western markets. This role owns the look, feel, and storytelling of Klook campaigns across the US, ANZ, UK, and EU. You’ll lead a team of designers and motion artists, shape the creative direction for regional & local campaigns, and turn marketing strategies into work people actually want to engage with.

This is a hands-on leadership role – part creative visionary, part partner to local marketing leads, and part builder of great teams.

What You’ll Own

  • Creative direction for Western Markets – you’ll define and lead the creative direction for campaigns targeting Western Market audiences across digital, social, and offline channels
  • Western Market brand – you’ll translate global brand guidelines into locally relevant creative work that resonates with Western travelers
  • Campaign storytelling – you’ll partner with local marketing leads, you’ll turn strategies into clear creative concepts, narratives, and visual systems
  • Leading the creative team – you’ll manage and mentor a team of designers and motion graphic artists based in Malaysia, helping them produce their best work while maintaining high creative standards
  • Data informed creativity – you’ll work closely with marketing and analytics teams to understand performance data and use those insights to iterate on creatives that actually drive results

What We’re Looking For

  • 8-12 years in creative roles, including art direction and creative leadership (copywriting experience is a plus)
  • Experience leading campaign creative strategy for Western audiences (US, UK, ANZ, EU)
  • A strong portfolio across multiple channels (digital media, social, video, OOH, or integrated campaigns)
  • Experience leading and mentoring designers remotely
  • Comfortable working with performance data to iterate on creative work
  • Strong curiosity to stay on the cutting edge of AI tools and workflows to accelerate creative production
  • Globally minded and adept at managing stakeholders across timezones and cultures
  • Highly proficient in key design tools (e.g., Adobe suite, Figma, CapCut, etc.)
  • Consistently strives for strong performance; professional and has a thirst for excellence
  • Not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
  • Most importantly, you care deeply about making work that people will remember
