Position: Creative Houdini FX Artist for Dynamic CG Series Production

This role requires an FX Artist with a minimum of 1 year studio experience, particularly in episodic shows. You will create effects like smoke, clouds, and fire using Houdini’s dynamic tools. Strong technical skills, a solid understanding of physical dynamics, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential for meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and animate effects using Houdini tools
• Collaborate with the FX Supervisor and lighting team
• Produce look tests based on provided concepts
• Work within production deadlines effectively
• Address creative approaches within the pipeline
Requirements:
• 1+ years in a studio setting on episodic shows
• Proficient in Houdini Dynamic tools
• Experience with rendering using Mantra
• Knowledge of Nuke or Renderman is a plus
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
