The Position: We are looking for a highly creative, entrepreneurial, and hands-on Creative Director to help build and lead a new creative division within our New York studio.

This is not a traditional corporate creative role. We are looking for a builder-someone who thrives in startup environments, takes ownership, and enjoys creating something from the ground up. The ideal candidate combines artistic vision with operational execution and is excited to develop entirely new creative experiences, products, and collaborations.

You will play a key role in shaping two major areas of our business:

1. The Doll & Figurine Studio – overseeing the development of custom dolls, collectibles, and 3D figurines from concept through production.
2. Music & Artist Collaborations – building relationships with musicians, producers, and creators to develop original content, collaborations, and creative experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the overall creative direction of the New York studio.
• Translate ideas into executable projects with measurable outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high creative standards.
• Work closely with leadership to identify new business opportunities and creative initiatives.
• Recruit and manage freelance creatives and external partners as the studio grows.

Build and Lead the Doll & Figurine Studio

• Develop the creative vision for our custom doll and collectible product lines.
• Oversee concept development, design direction, prototyping, and production.
• Collaborate with artists, sculptors, designers, manufacturers, and technology partners.
• Explore new techniques and technologies in collectibles, personalization, and 3D production.
• Create systems and processes to scale production while maintaining creative excellence.

Develop Music & Creative Collaborations

• Identify and cultivate relationships with musicians, producers, artists, and creative partners.
• Develop collaboration opportunities that align with the brand's creative vision.
• Lead creative projects involving music, content creation, events, and artist partnerships.
• Help build a vibrant creative community around the studio.

Who you are

• A highly creative thinker with strong artistic instincts and exceptional taste.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal structure or supervision.
• Resourceful, proactive, and energized by ambiguity.
• Experienced in creative production, design, art direction, experiential projects, collectibles, entertainment, or related creative industries.
• Passionate about art, music, culture, and emerging creative technologies.
• Strong project management and execution skills.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder.

Preferred Experience

• Experience launching creative products, brands, or studios.
• Background in collectibles, toys, figurines, 3D design, product development, or manufacturing.
• Experience working with musicians, creators, entertainment brands, or artist partnerships.
• Experience with 3D modeling, prototyping, AI creative tools, digital fabrication, or emerging technologies is a plus.
• Startup experience strongly preferred.

• Launch and establish the onsite doll and figurine production division.
• Build a network of artists, designers, manufacturers, and creative collaborators.

Salary Range – 90K-110K
