Hours: 10 – 20 per week
Duration: 1 – 3 months, potential to extend to ongoing, more fulltime work
Location: Remote
Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, the Creative Director will act as the creative quarterback for live events-owning the creative vision from concept through execution. This is a client-facing role requiring strong research skills, confident presentation, and the ability to lead creative teams under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall creative strategy and vision for live events and conferences from start to finish
- Deeply research and understand each client to develop tailored creative solutions
- Develop show themes, taglines, visual systems, tone of voice, and brand narratives
- Create creative briefs, style guides, and visual identities for each event
- Oversee and guide creative execution across video, animation, and event assets
- Manage and mentor 2-3 designers, partnering closely with a Project Manager to ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track
- Serve as a primary creative point of contact for clients throughout the engagement
Creative Director Capabilities
- 8-15 years of experience in Creative Direction, Design, and/or Writing
- Strong client-facing presence with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly conceptual thinker with the ability to take ideas from vision to execution
- Solid background in video and animation
- Exceptional aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and PowerPoint
- Brand activation experience is a plus
- AV production experience is a plus
