Role Overview
The Creative Director will lead the creation and delivery of bold, integrated creative ideas and content for key client accounts across the ANZ and APAC market. This role is for an idea‑first creative leader who can define and communicate a clear creative vision, inspire teams, and partner confidently with senior clients.
With a strong grounding in craft and an eagerness to utilise AI tools, the Creative Director will shape campaign ideas, lead creative strategy, elevate storytelling, and ensure ideas are brought to life through smart, effective production. They will build creative culture, mentor teams, and play a central role in pitches, presentations and long‑term client growth.
This is a hands‑on leadership role. As Creative Director you will be ready to roll up your sleeves— craft decks, shape narratives, storyboard, write copy or scripts, refine ideas and jump into tools. A growth mindset and a willingness to work outside traditional comfort zones is essential with an eagerness to use and explore AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Vision & Idea Leadership
- Lead big, platform‑driven ideas across integrated campaigns spanning brand, content, digital, social, experiential and emerging channels.
- Define and communicate a clear creative vision that connects insight, idea and execution.
- Ensure all work delivers against the brief while pushing creative boundaries and driving meaningful client value.
Client & Pitch Leadership
- Act as a confident, persuasive creative voice internally and with clients.
- Lead pitches and presentations, clearly articulating ideas, rationale and creative vision to senior stakeholders.
- Build strong, trusted client relationships while stewarding brands and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
Team Leadership & Creative Culture
- Inspire, mentor and lead a multi‑disciplinary ANZ team and at times working with international and remote creative teams.
- Build a high‑performance creative culture grounded in collaboration, curiosity, ambition and accountability.
- Provide clear direction, feedback and leadership to elevate work and grow talent.
Hands‑On Craft & Delivery
- Your hands‑on when— shaping narratives, building decks, writing copy, refining concepts and supporting execution.
- Maintain high creative standards while balancing speed, effectiveness and scale.
- Ensure consistent quality across all outputs and touchpoints.
Production, Innovation & AI
- Bring strong production understanding, partnering closely with producers from idea to delivery.
- Ensure ideas are production‑aware, efficient and executable without compromising ambition.
- Champion innovation and embed AI tools across ideation, storytelling and production to enhance creative quality and efficiency at every touch point.
Role Specific skills and Attributes
- Minimum 8 years' experience in senior creative roles leading integrated campaigns for large or complex brands.
- A strong craft expertise: art direction, copywriting, directing – or a combination.
- Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary creative teams.
- Strong presenter and storyteller with the confidence to sell ideas at a senior level.
- Clear communicator, decisive thinker and calm leader under time pressure.
- Curious, adaptable, and excited by change, innovation and working outside comfort zones.
- Hands‑on, collaborative and results‑driven, with a strong understanding of production and content.
- You have a pursuit for content excellence at every touch point – from pitch to delivery.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
