About the Role
This is a creative leadership role for someone who leads with ideas first. You will set the conceptual direction across the agency's campaign portfolio, guiding a multidisciplinary team from brief to final delivery while staying hands-on in the craft. The role reports to agency leadership and carries real ownership over creative quality, team development, and client output. The right person thrives in an environment where storytelling is the standard, not the aspiration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the creative vision across all active campaigns, ensuring every concept is strategically sound, narratively strong, and visually compelling.
- Lead a multidisciplinary creative team, guiding work from ideation through execution.
- Set and maintain creative standards across the team, including performance, feedback culture, and professional development.
- Stay hands-on in the craft, contributing directly in writing, art direction, or design depending on project need.
- Partner with strategy, accounts, and production to align creative with business objectives at every stage.
- Oversee all phases of production, including pre-production, on-set execution, and post, collaborating closely with directors and content creators.
- Present concepts and in-progress work to internal teams and clients with clarity and conviction.
- Integrate AI tools into creative workflows to enhance speed, quality, and innovation across the team.
- Stay current with shifts in design, culture, and platform behavior to ensure the work remains sharp and relevant.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in creative leadership roles at agencies, studios, or brand-side teams.
- Exceptional conceptual thinking, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong, original storytelling across digital, social, video, and print.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one creative craft: writing, art direction, or design.
- Significant on-set production experience, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with directors and talent.
- Proven commercial track record, with campaigns that have met business goals while earning cultural relevance.
- Strong leadership presence, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and maintaining output quality across concurrent projects.
- Content creation fluency, including familiarity with gear, production workflows, and creator culture.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Workspace; familiarity with project management tools.
- AI-positive mindset with a clear point of view on how AI can enhance rather than replace creative thinking.
- Experience in consumer products is a plus.
