Overview
Creative Content Producer (Freelance) Jobs in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia at The Jacky Winter Group
Established in 2007, The Jacky Winter Group is a creative production and representation studio with offices in Melbourne, New York and London.
Representing over a hundred commercial artists working across a diverse range of specialised branches and partnerships, we solicit and produce thousands of creative briefs a year, ranging from illustration and activations to animation and special projects, catering primarily to advertising agencies, brands, publishers, and design studios.
We’re looking for a Creative Content Producer to execute the production of content across the Jacky Winter ecosystem, primarily supporting Jacky Winter while occasionally contributing to ventures including Solid Lines, Gildlings, Capital Virtues, Jacky Winter Gallery and The Play Group.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands social content from start to finish. You’ll plan, produce, shoot and edit engaging content that showcases our artists, our people and the work we’re proud of. Along the way, you’ll also lend your design skills to a range of marketing and promotional materials.
If you’re already creating great content and are looking for a stable, on-going creative partnership, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
You’ll own the content production process from concept through to final delivery, working closely with an internal team to bring ideas to life.
This is an on-going contract role that we estimate will require around 25-30 hours per week across 3-4 days. Half of which will need to be done on-site at our Collingwood studio.
We already have a content framework in place, including planning calendars, recurring content formats and pre-production processes. Rather than building a marketing strategy from scratch, your role will be to confidently operate within this framework, bringing creativity, initiative and excellent execution to every piece of content.
No two weeks will look quite the same. You might be interviewing an artist in their studio, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, documenting an event, editing a campaign recap or designing assets for an upcoming announcement.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and producing content across our social channels.
- Managing the end-to-end production process, including pre-production, filming, editing and post-production.
- Capturing artist interviews, studio visits, office culture, team spotlights, event recaps, and project showcases.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop content ideas and identify opportunities.
- Managing content production schedules and coordinating shoots.
- Editing short and long-form video content for social platforms.
- Designing social assets and marketing collateral, following existing brand guidelines and templates.
- Maintaining an organised library of content, imagery and project files.
- Presenting concepts, sharing progress and incorporating stakeholder feedback throughout production.
We’d love to hear from you if you…
- Have a strong portfolio of content you’ve produced from start to finish.
- Have experience creating engaging social-first video content.
- Have a great eye for visual storytelling and creative detail.
- Are confident in shooting and editing your own content.
- Have graphic design experience and are comfortable working across Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Are organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
- Enjoy collaborating with creative teams while confidently managing your own workflow.
- Have an appreciation for art, illustration, design and creative culture.
We’re far more interested in seeing the work you’ve made than counting years of experience. Whether you’ve built your own content channels, worked in-house or freelanced, we’d love to see examples that demonstrate your creativity, craft and initiative.
