Creative Content Producer – Fashion Jobs in Greater Melbourne Area at The Oodie

The Oodie is a proudly Australian eCommerce brand on a mission to become the most loved comfort brand in the world. We exist to make people feel ridiculously happy by re-thinking comfort as a way of life.

From our iconic wearable blankets to sleepwear and beyond, we’re here to spread warmth, happiness, and a little bit of cosy chaos across the globe. We are on the lookout for people who think big, dream cosy, and love doing cool things with great people. We back people who own their business, take initiative, and lead from every seat.

If you’re excited by fun products, clever ideas, and a team that doesn’t take itself too seriously (but absolutely delivers), come work at The Oodie!

The Role

We’re looking for a Creative Content Producer to help bring The Oodie brand to life behind the scenes.

This is the role for someone who genuinely loves being organised and busy! Someone who gets a weird amount of satisfaction from perfectly run shoots, colour coded run sheets, solved problems, and making creative magic happen without anyone seeing the stress behind it.

Reporting to the Creative Content Manager, you will own the end to end coordination of photo and content shoots, from booking talent and locations through to wrangling samples, managing timelines, coordinating post production and making sure every final asset lands where it needs to.

You are the person making sure:

• The shoot happens

• The samples arrive

• The talent turns up

• The assets get delivered

• The timeline stays on track

• And nobody forgets the steamer

You’ll thrive in this role if you love being the calm, solutions focused operator that keeps creative teams moving.

Bringing Shoots To Life

• Own pre production logistics across photo and content shoots

• Coordinate studios, locations, call sheets, run sheets and shoot schedules

• Source and book photographers, models, stylists, hair and makeup artists and other creative talent

• Support the Creative Content Manager in bringing campaign concepts to life

• Be on set making sure the day runs smoothly, on time and with good energy

• Solve problems quickly when the inevitable “tiny emergency” pops up

Sample & Wardrobe Coordination

• Work closely with Product and Merchandise teams to pull and prep samples for shoots

• Keep track of garments, props and product movements so nothing goes missing into the void

• Coordinate steaming, styling prep and on set presentation

• Manage returns and keep samples organised post shoot

Production & Budget Management

• Help manage shoot budgets and supplier costs

• Raise purchase orders and coordinate invoices

• Look for smart ways to save money without compromising creative quality

• Keep projects moving efficiently while balancing timelines and priorities

Post Production & Asset Delivery

• Coordinate retouchers, editors and post production partners

• Manage feedback and approvals on final imagery and motion assets

• Keep our asset library organised and easy to navigate

• Ensure assets are delivered correctly across ecommerce, social, paid and email channels

• Make sure nobody is hunting for “FINAL_v7_USETHISONE.jpg”

Content Calendar & Coordination

• Help manage production timelines around launches and key campaigns

• Coordinate with Paid, Social and eCommerce teams on delivery timing

• Flag risks early and keep everyone aligned

• Support process improvements that help shoots run better each time

Supplier & Partner Management

• Build strong relationships with photographers, talent, stylists and freelancers

• Help grow a reliable network of creative suppliers

• Coordinate external partners professionally and positively

• Be someone people genuinely enjoy working with

This is the right fit for you if:

• Have several years experience in production, studio coordination or content production

• Have worked across fashion, lifestyle or eCommerce brands

• Love organisation, planning and keeping things moving

• Can manage multiple moving parts without dropping the detail

• Stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly

• Have strong communication skills and work well across teams

• Understand content production workflows from pre production through to delivery

• Enjoy both creative environments and operational structure

• Are proactive, adaptable and hands on

• Can confidently juggle timelines, suppliers, samples and shoot logistics all at once

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience coordinating UGC or influencer shoots

• Know your way around project management tools like Monday.com, Asana or Notion

• Have a contact list full of photographers, HMUA’s or stylists

• Secretly love spreadsheets and beautifully organised folders

Working at The Oodie looks like:

  • Davie’s Dreamball giving our team the chance to win cash when we hit key business milestones
  • Team Member discounts on everyone’s favourite product, so you can stay cosy all year round
  • A great office environment where collaboration is key. We value being together and working face to face as a team in the office
  • Ongoing investment in learning and development, with opportunities to grow and build new skills throughout the year
  • A culture built on our values: Own Your Business, Give a Sh*t, Do Cool Things That Make Our Customers Happy, Open the Door for Others, and Say How It Is (Respectfully)
  • A close knit team that supports each other and celebrates wins together
