Creative & Brand Strategist

This role is for someone who can create the strategy, not just execute a content plan created by someone else.

 

About the Role

This is the brain of our marketing operation. You will own what both brands say, how they say it, and whether it resonates. You are not a content writer waiting for briefs. You are the person who creates the brief, writes the content, sets the creative-first brand direction, and holds the bar for everything that goes out.

 

What You Own

•       Brand voice and positioning, creative-first brand direction and strategy

•       Integrated strategies across social, influencer, and campaign-led content

•       All copywriting: social captions, Reel scripts, DVC scripts, carousel copy, LinkedIn posts, website copy, emailers, app copy, packaging copy

•       Campaign ideation and execution — creating narratives across DVCs, GTM launches, meme and early-buzz building initiatives

•       GTM content planning and execution for product launches

•       Storytelling, narrative development, and pre-launch audience-building strategies

•       Creative briefs for the designer and video editor — clear enough that they can execute without hand-holding

•       Content performance review — weekly analysis of what worked, what didn’t, and what changes

•       Competitive and Category monitoring — tracking what relevant brands and creators are doing and identifying opportunities

 

Mandatory Experience

•       3–6 years in content strategy, brand strategy, or creative strategy at an agency or at a reputed company

•       Demonstrated work across Instagram and LinkedIn — not just posting, but building pages with measurable growth

•       Experience scripting Reels, DVCs, or short-form video content

•       Experience working on at least one premium or lifestyle brand (not just mass-market/performance marketing clients)

•       A portfolio or body of work you can walk us through — showing what you made, why, and what it achieved

•       Strong writing skills across formats — you can write a 10-word hook and a 500-word LinkedIn post with equal quality

 

Non-Negotiable Qualities

•       You think in content systems, not individual posts. A random Tuesday carousel idea is not a strategy.

•       You understand that content must perform, not just look good. If it doesn’t drive reach, saves, shares, or conversions, it failed.

•       You have taste. You can tell the difference between a premium brand and a generic one at a glance, and you know why.

•       You can hold two completely different brand voices in your head simultaneously without cross-contamination.

•       You are a self-starter. Nobody will tell you what to post this week. You figure it out, build the calendar, and execute.
