Our client, a global creative and marketing agency partnered with one of the most recognizable consumer brands, is seeking a Social Creative Lead / Senior Social Designer to join their growing team supporting a large-scale global social-first initiative.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of conceptual creativity and hands-on execution. You’ll help shape how a globally recognized brand shows up across social platforms through culturally relevant, platform-native creative that drives engagement and brand impact.
The ideal candidate brings a strong advertising agency background, a social-first portfolio, and the ability to think conceptually while still being deeply involved in execution across TikTok, Instagram, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social channels.
Key Responsibilities
Social-First Creative Development
• Lead the visual development and execution of social-first creative campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
• Create visually compelling branded content that feels native to each platform while remaining aligned to the brand’s creative identity
• Translate consumer insights, campaign objectives, and cultural trends into engaging creative concepts and executions
• Develop assets across static, motion, short-form video, and integrated digital formats
Conceptual Thinking & Campaign Ideation
• Contribute big-picture creative thinking while remaining hands-on in execution
• Develop concepts rooted in storytelling, cultural relevance, and audience engagement
• Present creative rationale, campaign ideas, and visual direction to internal stakeholders and client teams
• Ensure all creative solutions are insight-driven, strategically aligned, and socially relevant
Brand & Client Collaboration
• Partner closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, Social Teams, Copywriters, and Client Services teams
• Collaborate with both local and global stakeholders across the business
• Participate in client-facing conversations, creative reviews, and campaign presentations
• Help guide brands through evolving social trends, platform behaviors, and creator-led content strategies
Creative Production & Execution
• Design and produce high-quality social assets at speed while maintaining strong attention to craft and detail
• Support content shoots, photography direction, video treatments, and visual storytelling execution where required
• Ensure all work aligns with platform specifications, social best practices, and evolving consumer behaviors
• Balance multiple projects, timelines, and creative priorities simultaneously
Trend & Innovation Awareness
• Stay ahead of social trends, creator culture, platform updates, and emerging content behaviors
• Bring a strong understanding of what performs organically across social ecosystems
• Explore the thoughtful integration of AI and creative technology tools into design workflows and ideation processes
• Continuously contribute fresh ideas and culturally relevant creative perspectives
Qualifications
• 4–7+ years of experience in advertising, creative agencies, social content, or brand design environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing social-first campaigns, conceptual thinking, and branded content execution
• Experience working on consumer-facing brands within beauty, wellness, lifestyle, CPG, or related industries
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social platform creative best practices
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and related creative tools
• Experience creating motion, social, and digital-first assets in fast-paced environments
• Ability to confidently present ideas and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously
Nice-to-Have
• Experience working on global brands or international campaigns
• Hands-on exposure to influencer, creator, or community-led campaigns
• Experience collaborating with content creators, production teams, or social studios
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows and emerging design technologies
• Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or personal care categories
