Country Manager
Consumer Lifestyle Retail | Full P&L Ownership | Multi-Store Growth
Our client is a well-established consumer lifestyle retail business with a strong brand identity and a growing retail and e-commerce presence. As the business enters its next phase of expansion, they are seeking a commercially driven and hands-on Country Manager to lead the business end-to-end – with full accountability for performance, growth strategy, and operational excellence across the retail network. This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines strong retail instincts with genuine entrepreneurial ownership. You will set the direction, build the team, and deliver results – in a market where brand relevance and customer experience are as important as commercial execution.
The Role
You will own the full P&L and be accountable for revenue, profitability, and growth targets across retail stores and e-commerce. You will define and execute the business strategy -identifying new retail locations, strategic partnerships, and channel opportunities – while ensuring the brand remains competitive and visible in the market.
Working closely with the marketing team, you will oversee campaigns and brand initiatives that drive traffic, strengthen customer engagement, and improve conversion. You will ensure tight alignment between marketing and retail execution, so that every initiative lands with impact on the floor.
Operationally, you will provide leadership across all retail stores – driving consistent service standards, sales performance, inventory discipline, and compliance. You will build and lead a cross-functional team spanning retail, sales, marketing, and operations, fostering a high-performance culture with clear accountability and strong succession de
pth.Financially, you will manage budgets, control costs, and monitor operational efficiency, ensuring the business delivers sustainably against its targets.
The Ideal Candidate
You bring proven country management or senior leadership experience in retail – ideally within consumer lifestyle, fashion, or related sectors. You have a track record of managing multi-store operations and full P&L, and you are equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to drive execution. You have demonstrated experience in ideation and concept development – bringing new retail concepts to life from the ground up and translating creative vision into commercially viable execution. You lead teams with clarity and conviction, and you bring an entrepreneurial mindset – treating the business as your own.
