Key Responsibilities
Your role in a nutshell
We are looking for our next Country Manager in Indonesia to lead our local sales organization to great things! As the country leader, you will be tasked with directly managing the local sales teams (Direct Touch and Channel Sales) as well as indirectly managing the Presales and Marketing. In this key role you will have the opportunity to influence employees, business partners and end customers alike, while making sure that our market share in the local cybersecurity landscape keeps growing. You will be responsible for
- Achieving and exceeding the sales targets for Indonesia
- Managing the Direct Touch Accounts team as well as the Channels team, through their respective team leaders
- Building strong engagement and relationship with clients and business partner by executing go to market strategy, programs and through account mapping and planning
- Managing pipeline generation and accurate forecasting including new solutions, projects, renewals and refresh
- Increase Check Point’s brand awareness in the market place, through direct contacts with large accounts, technology consultants, specialized press and by an active presence in trade shows and Check Point’s organized events
- Being the brand ambassador of Check Point
- Developing local market intelligence and competitive take-out
- Developing and coach all sales staff under supervision
Qualifications
- At least 8-10 years of successful experience in IT enterprise sales and channel sales, including at least 5 years in a Sales Director/Country Manager role with direct reports’ responsibility
- Good business acumen with ability to strategize and plan as well as being hands-on when needed
- Good understanding of the IT Security market including local insight on competitors, solutions and current trends
- Result-oriented and action-driven
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
