Corporate Communications Executive Jobs in Samut Prakan, Thailand at MR DIY Thailand
Brand & Corporate Positioning
– Act as a brand custodian for MR. DIY to ensure accurate, consistent, and positive profiling at all times.
– Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies, media, government bodies, and industry associations.
– Promote and nurture best practices in corporate communications across the MR DIY Thailand.
Public Relations & Internal Communications
– Support the development and execution of annual PR plans aligned with business objectives and reputation needs.
– Work closely with and guide PR and related agencies to plan, develop, and execute PR campaigns while ensuring the quality of all content and deliverables.
– Ensure all corporate communications materials (including websites, press releases, emailers, events branding, collateral, and other tools) comply with brand standards, brand messaging and brand visual identity guidelines
– Serve as the primary corporate point of contact for media queries and engagements.
– Monitor news, media, and social media to identify potential risks/issues affecting the MR DIY brand and recommend proactive mitigation actions.
– Develop and monitor a communications-focused crisis response plan.
– Execute additional communications initiatives to strengthen internal and external stakeholder engagement, including employee communications.
CSR Communications
– Support annual CSR campaigns to amplify CSR efforts internally and externally.
– Ensure CSR messaging is aligned with MR DIY’s brand values, corporate reputation, and overall communication strategy.
Insights & Trends
– Monitor and analyse political, social, economic, and lifestyle trends, and evaluate their impact on the brand’s objectives.
– Translate insights into relevant PR angles and communication ideas to maximise brand exposure and relevance.
– Perform other tasks assigned in addition to routine tasks.
Qualification
– A Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing, or related fields
– 1-3 years of experience in Public Relations, Media Management, or related fields, preferably within the listed retail or FMCG companies.
– Highly proficient in Thai and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
– Strong business acumen with clear understanding of how communications support business objectives.
– Creative, innovative, and proactive in bringing fresh ideas to keep MR DIY brands engaging and relevant.
– Independent, driven, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment while being a strong team player.
– Strong leadership skills with proven ability to guide internal team members and agency partners.
– Strong decision-making ability and calm mindset during crisis situations.
– Passion for community support / CSR involvement is an advantage (including volunteer or outreach experience).
