Overview
Copywriter and Content Manager Jobs in Bermondsey, England, United Kingdom at Natoora
ABOUT NATOORA
Natoora started close to 20 years ago with a very simple, yet powerful goal to find incredible flavour in fresh produce. Today, our dedication to this mission has grown into an impactful network of over 500 independent growers spanning nine sourcing hubs across three continents. Our mission is clear: to fix the food system at scale by reinstating flavour, nutrition and transparency, all while safeguarding the health of our soils.
Experts in sourcing flavour-first, seasonal fruits and vegetables, we work with hundreds of kitchens and some of the most exciting and influential chefs in London, New York, Miami, Copenhagen, Paris, and Melbourne. However, our commitment to creating a better food system also extends beyond professional kitchens to a strong community of home consumers across the US and the UK. From chefs, to home cooks to schoolchildren, we want to empower everyone to make better food choices and become informed drivers of change.
Our sourcing efforts also go well beyond fresh produce, tackling multiple facets of the food system at once — from restoring the value of whole grains through bread with our own mill and bakery, Alma, to farming produce directly at Great Fen Farm, and crafting our own range of seasonal dips, soups, and sauces in our Bermondsey kitchen. Whether we’re partnering with independent producers on flavour-first dry goods or developing recipes rooted in our seasonal fresh produce, everything we do is founded on the same principles of seasonality,
quality and integrity whilst steadfastly embracing scalability as a source of impact.
On the way, we have been named a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Company, appeared on the Financial Times’ list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, and proudly received a GQ Food & Drinks Sustainability Award.
ABOUT THE JOB
We're looking for a talented Copywriter and Content Manager to join our creative team and drive meaningful change across the food system.
As a key member of our brand team, you'll create compelling stories that inspire and engage our loyal community while attracting new audiences. With a deep passion for food, farming, and hospitality, you'll take an active role in our social media and web content efforts, helping to raise awareness and foster a grassroots movement to shape the future of food for the better.
You will be centrally involved in developing the brand strategy from a content perspective. Setting objectives for each quarter with the aim of raising awareness for our food system revolution will be a key part of your role. Ideally, you’ll be as analytical as you are creative – developing and testing new approaches to ensure our mission is heard will be crucial to your success.
You will manage the editorial calendar, adapt centrally developed assets for the local audience, and create relevant regional campaigns. Additionally, you will create and manage all content for our app, social media, and digital newsletters. While remaining true to the brand, you will tailor content to reflect the local culture and resonate with our customers.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 3/4 years of content management experience and a strong copywriting portfolio.
Expertise in developing and maintaining a consistent brand voice across all channels, ensuring alignment with Natoora’s ethos.
Superb writing skills in English: Ability to craft posts and reports that captivate and connect with our community of chefs and clients. Your writing should be authentic, engaging, and not overly promotional. You should be confident in conducting interviews, identifying the best angles for writing them up and adapting them to suit the specific type of piece you need.
Understanding of the hospitality industry and the ability to confidently address time-pressed chefs and home consumers.
Experience running a busy content calendar across multiple channels.
Previous experience running a busy content calendar that spans multiple channels. While you must be a rigorous planner, flexibility will be essential in order to make the most of sudden seasonal shifts.
Independent: Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision, while being communicative and collaborative with colleagues.
You should be motivated to expand our social media presence and promote our brand effectively. Join us and help grow Natoora’s social media accounts while fostering strong community connections.
