About The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing compelling and engaging content that supports our national and local marketing campaigns. Your primary focus will be on crafting persuasive copy across various channels including print, digital, email, direct mail, and web. You will collaborate closely with creative, social, and brand teams to generate innovative ideas and bring them to life through impactful storytelling. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of brand voice, and the ability to interpret feedback quickly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your words will help shape the perception of one of the world’s most beloved pizza brands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within marketing or advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in digital content creation and editing tools
- Strong understanding of brand voice and tone consistency
- Ability to develop creative concepts and adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including designers and brand managers
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative, social, and brand teams to develop innovative, high-impact ideas and execute them from concept to completion
- Develop, write, and proofread copy supporting national and local promotion collateral, including print, direct mail, email campaigns, web content, and other marketing materials
- Create compelling copy to support corporate and system-wide eDeals, revenue management initiatives, and online promotions
- Assist in the initial product naming process, providing creative input and options
- Extend copywriting support to partnership marketing and cross-functional teams as needed
- Work alongside designers and brand managers to develop and refine copy strategies for advertising campaigns
- Provide multiple copy options and incorporate feedback efficiently to ensure content meets project objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Creative Agency of Record (AOR) and other stakeholders to extend content expertise
- Ensure all content is on-brand, culturally aware, platform-specific, distinctive, and engaging
- Perform other duties as assigned to support marketing initiatives and team objectives
