The Role at a Glance
We’re looking for a Content Producer to bring whisky stories and our work to life across our channels. This is a new role in our Marketing and Engagement team.
Our Content Producer will play a key part in producing editorial content to fuel community growth, member engagement, and brand awareness, as well as producing content on behalf of Whiskybase partners.
You’ll work across content formats (from written editorial to video, photography, advertising creative, and client-driven priorities) to support our growth goals. You’ll collaborate closely with the Community Experience Lead and wider Marketing team to make sure our content connects with all our audiences, including Whiskybase Members and industry partners alike.
What You’ll Do
• Under the coordination of the Community Experience Lead, produce our on-site featured content, social media content, and newsletters.
• Deliver member-facing content projects such as onboarding videos, website explainers, resource center articles, and SEO/AIO growth-driving whisky media.
• Ensure information accuracy, including for our partnering brands, bottlers, distilleries, and retailers.
• Publish and manage posting across Whiskybase’s own social media channels, in coordination with the marketing calendar and briefs from the Community Experience Lead.
• Own content production standards, templates, and reusable assets that make our output more consistent and scalable.
• Create and maintain clearly organized visual assets for the website, marketplace, shop, newsletter, and social.
• Develop and manage social media content for use across our channels, in coordination with the broader marketing calendar.
• Produce event, retail, and B2B marketing materials.
• Own operational onboarding and maintenance of brand, bottler, and distillery pages; gather and produce assets, publish pages, ensure quality, working from briefs and guidance from the Community Experience Lead and Head of Marketing, who own the client relationship.
• Build and publish on-site pages in WordPress, including landing, onboarding, campaign, and conversion pages, according to briefs signed off by the Head of Marketing that specify copy, structure, and intent. Maintain reusable WordPress page templates and production standards.
• Monitor data analytics across all work to ensure new content drives growth and engagement.
About You
• You’re a versatile content creator with strong multimedia skills. This includes video, photo, graphic design, and written copy production. (Your background likely leans toward one of these skills over others. Please share your strengths and address personal growth areas in your application.)
• You’re comfortable owning content production end-to-end: planning, executing, editing, fact-checking, publishing, data analytics.
• You have a strong eye for visual consistency and brand voice.
• You’re collaborative and enjoy working across teams.
• You know a thing or two about whisky and demonstrate an aptitude for getting whisky details right. Or, in lieu of extensive whisky knowledge, you can fluently share with us significant experiences publishing content outside your comfort zone.
• You have expertise across tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, and similar.
• You can talk us through how you currently use AI—and how you’d propose using it in your workflow.
• Bonus: experience with Mailchimp, WordPress, OneSignal, YouTube, or other social-native formats (for example, extensive experience in channel growth, serial publication, or similar).

Workplace
This is an on-site role in Rotterdam. We value in-person collaboration and work in a hybrid environment. We are typically in the office Wednesday to Friday.
Compensation
For this full-time role, the salary range is €2,600–€3,600 gross per month, depending on experience and skill set. In addition to your salary, you are also eligible for an individual KPI-driven company bonus plan, a pension scheme managed at Pensioenfonds Retail, 25 vacation days, a travel allowance based on actual costs incurred, further career development opportunities, and an employee discount in the Whiskybase Shop. A fixed monthly allowance is provided for use of personal devices/equipment for work purposes.
