Content Head Jobs in Gurugram, Haryana, India at Cumin Co.

We are looking for a Head of Content to build and lead Cumin Co.’s content engine across ads, YouTube, long-format storytelling, product education, launches and brand campaigns.

This role will own the full content lifecycle — from conceptualization to shooting, production, editing, analysis, testing and launching.

The person should be able to manage designers, copywriters, videographers, editors, photographers, creators, agencies and freelancers, while also bringing strong creative thinking and business understanding.

This is a role for someone who can make content that looks premium, feels fresh, explains the product well and actually helps the business grow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Conceptualization

  • Own the overall content strategy across ads, YouTube, Instagram, website, product launches and campaigns.
  • Build sharp content ideas around product education, cookware science, health-first cooking, Indian kitchens, founder storytelling and customer love.
  • Convert business goals into content themes, campaign ideas and creative formats.
  • Conceptualize content IPs, ad hooks, YouTube formats, product stories and campaign narratives.
  • Create monthly and weekly content calendars with clear priorities and output targets.
  • Work closely with founders, brand, growth and product teams to identify what needs to be communicated and how.

2. Performance Ad Content

  • Lead the creation of high-performing ad creatives for Meta, Google, YouTube and marketplaces.
  • Build a steady pipeline of new ad assets across videos, statics, carousels, founder-led videos, product demos, UGC-style ads, testimonials and comparison formats.
  • Work with the growth team to understand creative performance, ROAS, CTR, hook rate, thumbstop rate, CAC and conversion.
  • Create multiple hook and script variations for every major product or campaign.
  • Analyze what is working and convert learnings into sharper creative briefs.
  • Ensure ad content is not just visually good, but also conversion-focused.

3. YouTube & Long-Format Content

  • Build Cumin Co.’s YouTube and long-format content strategy.
  • Own concepts, scripts, episode formats and production planning for long-form videos.
  • Create content around product education, cookware comparisons, founder stories, kitchen science, cooking formats and brand films.
  • Develop recurring content IPs that build trust, authority and brand recall.
  • Ensure long-format content can also be repurposed into shorts, reels, ads, website content and social assets.
  • Make YouTube a serious education and trust-building channel for the brand.

4. Content Shooting & Production

  • Plan and manage video shoots, photoshoots, campaign shoots, product shoots and content days.
  • Own shoot briefs, shot lists, storyboards, scripts, props, styling, locations, budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with photographers, videographers, chefs, stylists, creators, influencers and editors.
  • Ensure every shoot has a clear output plan across ads, reels, YouTube, website, Amazon, email, social and launch assets.
  • Manage the full production process from pre-production to post-production.
  • Improve shoot efficiency so each production day creates multiple usable assets.

5. Creative Team Management

  • Manage designers, copywriters, video editors, photographers, content creators, agencies and freelancers.
  • Build clear systems for briefs, timelines, reviews, feedback and approvals.
  • Ensure all creative work follows Cumin Co.’s brand voice, design language and quality standards.
  • Mentor the team to create content that is sharper, faster and more business-relevant.
  • Maintain consistency across copy, design, video, photography and campaign assets.
  • Build a culture of strong taste, speed, experimentation and accountability.

6. Campaigns & Product Launches

  • Own content for product launches, festive campaigns, sales events, brand films and category education campaigns.
  • Build full-funnel content packs across awareness, consideration and conversion.
  • Create launch assets for website, Instagram, YouTube, ads, marketplaces, email, WhatsApp and PR.
  • Ensure every campaign has a clear central idea and enough depth across formats.
  • Work with product and growth teams to make sure every launch has strong visual storytelling and conversion assets.
  • Bring freshness to how Cumin Co. talks about cookware, food, safety, design and Indian kitchens.

7. Analysis, Testing & Launching

  • Analyze content performance across paid ads, YouTube, Instagram and other channels.
  • Identify winning hooks, formats, scripts, visuals, creators and product angles.
  • Work with the growth team to test different creative formats and messaging.
  • Track what content is driving engagement, conversion, ROAS, watch time and recall.
  • Turn performance insights into new creative experiments.
  • Launch new content formats, campaigns and creative tests regularly.
  • Build a repeatable system where content is constantly ideated, produced, tested, analyzed and improved.

What We Are Looking For

  • 8–12 years of experience in content, creative strategy, brand content, production or social-first storytelling.
  • Strong experience in D2C, consumer brands, lifestyle, beauty, food, home, fashion, retail or premium products.
  • Proven ability to manage the full content process from idea to execution.
  • Strong understanding of performance ad creatives and what makes people stop, watch, click and buy.
  • Experience managing designers, copywriters, editors, photographers, videographers, agencies and freelancers.
  • Strong eye for design, visual storytelling, copy and brand tone.
  • Comfortable with scripts, storyboards, shoot planning, production and post-production.
  • Ability to create both sharp 15-second ad hooks and deeper long-format content.
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and turning rough ideas into strong content.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple shoots, campaigns and content tracks at the same time.
