THE ROLE
Reporting to the Creative Director at our Brisbane HQ, this is a hands-on role focused on performance content: the short-form video and paid social ads that drive our growth on TikTok, Instagram and Meta. You’ll shoot it, star in it and edit it, across our activewear, supplements and food ranges.
It’s a fast-paced, early-career role built around ideas that convert. One day you’re filming a product drop or a UGC-style ad in the studio, the next you’re on camera testing a new hook, then cutting it together and handing it to the paid media team. We want someone who cares about why an ad works, not just how it looks, and who can take a concept to a finished video fast. If your camera roll is full of hook ideas and you can’t help pulling apart why an ad blew up, you’ll fit in well here.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Come up with and shoot short-form video ads and hooks for TikTok, Instagram and Meta that stop the scroll and drive sales
- Create UGC-style content: get on camera yourself, demo products and front trends so the ads feel native to the feed
- Operate a camera to capture clean footage in the studio and on location, handling framing, lighting and audio
- Edit ads with tight pacing, captions, music and sound that hold attention and land the message
- Work to briefs from the marketing and creative teams, then test, tweak and iterate based on how the ads actually perform
- Produce a high volume of ads without the quality slipping, keeping a steady pipeline of fresh angles and hooks to test
- Repurpose and re-cut winning content for organic social, product launches and campaigns
- Keep footage, files and assets organised so the content library is easy to work from
- Keep up with new trends, sounds, formats and platform changes, and bring ad ideas to the team
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Around 0–2 years creating video content, whether in a job, freelancing, an internship, or building your own social channels
- A real interest in performance content, and a sense of what makes a social ad stop the scroll and convert
- Hands-on experience shooting with a camera (DSLR or mirrorless), including framing, lighting and getting clean audio
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects or CapCut experience is a bonus
- Happy to be on camera and comfortable presenting
- A showreel, portfolio or social profiles we can look at (please include links when you apply)
- Into health and fitness, and across what performs on TikTok, Reels and Meta

- A feel for what makes a social ad work: a strong hook, a clear message and a reason to buy
- A good eye behind the camera for framing, lighting and composition
- Sharp editing, with strong instincts for pacing, timing and sound
- Comfortable and natural on camera
- Fast and prolific, comfortable making a lot of ads to a high standard
- Genuinely across social trends, sounds and formats
- Organised, especially with files and footage
- Easy to work with, takes feedback well and communicates clearly
