Basma is a technology-enabled orthodontic platform delivering clear aligner treatments through a network of partner dental clinics across the GCC and beyond. We combine clinical excellence, proprietary workflows, and centralised production to make high-quality orthodontic care accessible — and we're growing in Kuwait.
The role
We're hiring our first Kuwait-based Content Creator to lead authentic, mobile-first content production across the country. You'll spend most days in the field — visiting partner clinics, working with doctors and patients, and turning real moments into stories that build trust in Basma. You'll own content end-to-end: scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing.
What you'll own
- Plan and produce a steady stream of short-form and long-form content for Instagram Reels and Snapchat as priority platforms, with TikTok and YouTube Shorts where they fit — shot primarily on smartphone in live clinic environments.
- Write Arabic-first scripts (with English where needed) that hook viewers in the first three seconds and reflect Kuwaiti cultural context, language, and platform conventions.
- Direct doctors, patients, and partners on camera to capture natural, compelling performances — while respecting clinical protocols, patient privacy, and consent requirements.
- Edit and finish content end-to-end (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or equivalent), adding captions, motion graphics, and sound design that align with Basma's brand guidelines.
- Appear on camera when the content calls for it — hosting, interviewing, and presenting from the field.
- Own the Kuwait content calendar: deliver on schedule without close supervision, and coordinate shoot logistics including scheduling, location permissions, releases, and equipment.
- Track content performance and use the data to sharpen what works — formats, hooks, CTAs, and posting cadence.
Required qualifications
- 2+ years creating and shipping content for social platforms (in-house, agency, or freelance).
- Portfolio or reel showing your own smartphone-shot video work.
- Proficiency in at least one video editing tool (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or equivalent).
- Strong scriptwriting in Arabic; working scriptwriting in English.
- Fluency with Kuwaiti social media culture — what plays on Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts in Kuwait today.
- Comfortable and natural on camera.
- Based in Kuwait, or relocating immediately.
Preferred
- Kuwaiti national — strongly preferred for cultural authenticity and ease of access to partner clinics and community settings.
- Experience producing healthcare, wellness, dental, or beauty content.
- Familiarity with Kuwait Ministry of Health guidance on medical and dental advertising and patient consent practice.
- An existing network in Kuwait's medical, wellness, or creator community.
- Familiarity with Basma or the clear aligner category.
What success looks like
Because this is the first dedicated content role in Kuwait, the first year is about building from zero:
By month 3: You've built working relationships with 2–3 partner clinics in Kuwait, shipped consistent content across priority platforms, and established the performance baseline we'll measure against going forward.
By month 6: You have a tested library of formats that work for Kuwaiti audiences, a reliable shoot rhythm with partner clinics, and clear data on which content types drive engagement and patient enquiries.
By month 12: You're recognised as the content lead for the Kuwait market — with a defined on-brand creative voice, a network of clinics and on-camera contributors you can call on, and measurable contribution to patient acquisition in Kuwait.
