Role Overview

UpBrand Media is a performance digital advertising agency focused on driving measurable business

results through paid advertising. We are not a creative agency. The Performance Content Creator is responsible for ideating and executing short-form, ad-native content designed specifically for paid media campaigns. This role owns creative execution from idea to delivery, with a strong focus on hooks, trends, offers, and calls to action that support campaign performance. This is not a copywriter role.

Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities

  • Ideate performance driven content concepts based on offers, hooks, trends, and ad formats.
  • Create short-form, iPhone-based, UGC-style video content designed for paid advertising.
  • Direct other content creators or UGC talent when needed.
  • Execute talking-head, POV, trend-adapted, and offer-driven ad content.
  • Write short-form ad hooks, CTAs, and performance-focused messaging.
  • Deliver raw content and clear creative direction to assigned editors for post-production.
  • Edit select pieces of content when appropriate and assign more complex edits to editors.
  • Collaborate closely with the Content Strategist on creative priorities and testing direction.
  • Review creative performance data and iterate content based on results.
  • Travel to client locations when required to capture content.
  • Manage creative execution for assigned client accounts with speed and consistency.
  • Write and adapt ad copy for paid campaigns, including primary text, headlines, and calls to action, aligned with performance objectives.

  • This is not an organic social media management role.
  • This role does not prioritize subjective creative approvals.
  • This is not a concept deck or campaign ideation role.
  • This is not a traditional agency creative position.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Comfortable and confident on camera.
  • Strong understanding of paid advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, and TikTok.
  • Experience working with performance metrics including CTR, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rates.
  • Proven ability to translate data into creative insights and execution.
  • Experience managing editors.
  • Deep familiarity with short form video, UGC style content, and ad native formats.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate in fast paced, performance driven environments.
  • Comfortable making decisions based on data rather than opinions.
