The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA (CME) is seeking a creative, talented and driven professional to join our team as a Content Creator.
This is an exciting opportunity for a digital storyteller who thrives on creating engaging content that informs, inspires and influences. You'll play a key role in shaping how CME communicates with members, stakeholders and the wider community through compelling video, visual and written content.
Working across advocacy campaigns, member communications, events and social and digital channels, you'll help bring complex industry issues to life, showcase the value of the resources sector and strengthen CME's profile as a leading voice for the industry.

What will you be doing?
- Creating engaging content across CME's digital channels, including social media, website, email communications, campaigns and events.
- Filming, editing and producing high-quality video content for social media, member engagement, advocacy campaigns and events.
- Developing graphics, animations and visual assets that support campaigns, storytelling and brand engagement.
- Writing compelling copy for social media, video scripts, website content, newsletters and campaign materials.
- Translating complex policy, advocacy and industry issues into clear, accessible and audience-friendly content.
- Repurposing content across multiple formats and platforms to maximise reach, engagement and impact.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to identify content opportunities and deliver timely, high-quality content.
- Maintaining CME's content calendar and supporting the delivery of integrated communications campaigns.
- Monitoring content performance and engagement metrics to inform future content planning and optimisation.
- Ensuring all content is accurate, on-brand and aligned with CME's strategic priorities and organisational objectives.
What are we looking for in you?
- Demonstrated experience in content creation, digital storytelling or multimedia production.
- Strong filming, video editing and post-production skills, with the ability to create polished content from concept to completion.
- Experience creating animation and motion graphics for digital platforms.
- Excellent writing and editing skills across social media, digital and campaign content.
- Experience using content creation and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends and digital best practice.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience in communications, campaigns, media, advocacy or corporate affairs will be highly regarded.
