Pastael is a fast-growing travel accessories brand based in London, creating colourful, clever and beautifully designed products that make packing and travelling feel more joyful.
We’re looking for a highly creative, social-first Content Creator to help bring the Pastael world to life across TikTok, Instagram and stories.
About the role
As our Content Creator, you’ll work closely with the founder and brand marketing manager to create engaging short-form content that grows awareness, builds community and drives sales.
You’ll be involved in everything from “pack with me” videos and product demos to behind-the-scenes content, launch moments, restocks, founder-led storytelling, trends, pop-ups and aesthetic travel content.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands the Pastael world – travel, packing, organisation, colour, aesthetics and the excitement of getting ready for a trip – and can bring it to life through content in a way that feels natural, aspirational and on-brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating short-form photo and video content for TikTok, Instagram and Stories.
- Filming and editing product-led, lifestyle, BTS, packing, travel and trend-led content.
- Appearing on camera as a face of the brand where relevant.
- Creating content around launches, restocks, pop-ups, team moments and founder-led storytelling.
- Turning product features into engaging hooks and easy-to-understand content.
- Capturing beautiful, social-first content that feels native to TikTok and Instagram.
- Helping build a strong content bank across product education, travel tips, packing inspiration and brand storytelling.
- Reacting quickly to trends, comments, customer questions and cultural moments.
- Supporting weekly content planning alongside the wider marketing team.
- Identify emerging creators, videographers, trends and social-first content opportunities that align with the Pastael brand, and bring these ideas into weekly content planning.

- You understand TikTok, Reels, hooks, pacing and platform-native content.
- You have a strong eye for styling, colour, composition and aesthetics.
- You understand how to make product content feel organic rather than overly salesy.
- You’re proactive, self-driven, action-oriented full of ideas and excited to test what works.
- Adaptable, thrive in a fast-moving, evolving startup environment
- Collaborative yet independent, comfortable contributing ideas, taking feedback, and owning outcomes
- You’re confident on camera and comfortable representing a brand.
- You can create content quickly without overcomplicating the process.
Essential Experience & skills
- 2–3+ years experience creating social-first content in a professional setting: in-house, freelance, agency-side, own platforms or for a founder/brand.
- Strong short-form content creation skills, confident filming, framing, capturing engaging footage and publishing content
- Skilled in video editing (CapCut, Final Cut Pro, and/or Adobe Premiere) and image editing (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Canva).
- A strong portfolio or examples of previous work that show your content style, taste and creative instincts.
- Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, trends and platform-native storytelling. You live and breathe social media.

Working hours: Part-time (3 days/week).
Location: Central London. In-person content creation required, with some flexible working
Salary: £40,000 pro rata, depending on experience and portfolio.
Contract type: 3 month contract, with opportunity to extend
Start date: July 2026
We’re open to both part-time employment and freelance arrangements. For freelance candidates, we’re happy to discuss an equivalent monthly retainer that reflects the nature of the role.
