What We’re Looking For:
As a Content Creator at TBWACanada, you’ll bring a Swiss Army knife of creative skills to your role. Reporting to a Content Lead, our Content Creators are part of a specialized group within the agency's creative discipline.
You’ll conceptualize and craft content for social media and digital platforms, focusing on short-form video content, photography, AI outputs, and more. While producing content, you’ll ensure that brand and culture are at the core of every concept, implementing social-first practices throughout the entire process. Beyond always-on content, you'll think beyond owned channels and collaborate with wider teams on larger campaign initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop ideas and express them creatively through different owned channels (social media such as TikTok, Meta, YouTube, etc.)
- Keep your finger on the pulse of culture and news, to gain inspiration and inform real-time conceptual ideas.
- Produce and execute high-quality content, collaborating with members of the content team and greater creative team when necessary.
- Ensure brand tone and voice are being expressed across all content outputs.
- Develop content within reactive workstreams with 24hr turnaround timelines.
- Develop content within always-on content cycles.
- Develop content ideas that are extensions of 360 campaigns.
What You Bring:
- Degree in communications, advertising, production or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in a comparable role in an agency (or equivalent), which includes content creator at the core of responsibilities.
- A portfolio of your created content is required showcasing your storytelling and editing skills, range and versatility across different formats, and examples of content that resonated.
- Strong knowledge of social media, with constant ongoing monitoring on developments across all platforms.
- Keeps current with visual trends and constructs within culture (social media, advertising, movies/television, design, fashion, etc.)
- Production generalist with a strong proficiency in post-production.
- Videography and photography are necessary.
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe suite and in-platform editing tools.
- Proficiency with AI production tools is considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $70,000 CAD per year. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.
