What you’ll do:
This role has two sides that feed each other: getting SkyRefund into the media, and keeping our website content sharp.
Media relations
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists covering travel, consumer rights, and business — in Bulgaria and in our key international markets
- Pitch stories, comment on industry news.
- Prepare press releases, talking points, and expert commentary
- Position our team as the go-to experts on air passenger rights
Website content
- Own the content on our website: write, edit, update, and publish articles, guides, and landing pages
- Work hand in hand with our SEO specialist — they set the keyword strategy and briefs, you turn them into content people actually want to read
- Keep existing content accurate and up to date (regulations change, and so should our pages)
- Make sure everything we publish sounds like us: clear, helpful, no legalese
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years in PR, communications, content, or journalism
- You write well. Really well. In English, and ideally in Bulgarian too
- You’re comfortable picking up the phone and talking to a journalist — or you’ve been the journalist on the other end
- Basic understanding of SEO (you don’t need to be an expert; that’s what our SEO specialist is for)
- Comfortable working with a CMS — or able to learn one in a week
Nice to have
- Experience in travel, fintech, legaltech, or consumer rights
- Additional European languages
