Position: Content and Video Assistant at United Church
Join The United Church of Canada as a Content and Video Assistant this summer. This remote role includes creating engaging editorial content and supporting video production from June 1, 2026.

As part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, this 8-week position is designed for youth aged 18 to 30. You’ll draft compelling newsletters, conduct research, and participate in video interviews while sharpening your creative skills. Attendance is required at an event from August 12th to 14th at Brock University, with accommodations provided if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft engaging content for newsletters and blogs

• Conduct archival research to enrich narratives

• Assist with video interviews from planning to execution

• Capture visual assets during on-site video shoots

• Edit raw footage into polished digital content

Requirements:

• Ages 18 to 30; valid Social Insurance Number

• Post secondary education preferred

• Strong communication and management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Basic understanding of the United Church is an asset
