As Content and Social Executive, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating Nextbase’s global content and social media activity. This role helps ensure content is planned, delivered, and distributed effectively across all digital touchpoints, including social media, websites, retail displays, and marketing campaigns. Working closely with internal teams, agencies, and external partners across multiple regions, you will help maintain visibility across content production, approvals, and distribution, ensuring projects run smoothly across teams and channels.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving creative environments, taking ownership of projects, and helping teams turn ideas into well-organised, executed content across multiple channels. Eager to grow, with a path toward a Content Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production Support:

  • Coordinate the flow of content across social media, web, retail, and campaign channels to ensure alignment with brand and marketing objectives
  • Maintain visibility of upcoming campaigns, launches, and content deliverables across teams.
  • Support content uploads and updates across key platforms, including website, retail, and campaign assets
  • Oversee and maintain the Nextbase Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, ensuring assets are up to date, accurately tagged, and structured for easy retrieval by global teams.
  • Assist in curating visuals, copy, and assets for use across marketing
  • Basic familiarity with tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Social and Community Support:

  • Collaborate with customer service and social media teams to ensure a cohesive community management approach
  • Liaise with social media agencies to review and approve content, ensuring creative quality and consistency
  • Flag comments and opportunities for engagement, supporting initiatives that drive brand affinity and interaction
  • Help identify opportunities for timely, culturally relevant content (e.g. opportunity to jump on a trend or a media stunt)
  • Support influencer campaign organisation and tracking in partnership with internal teams.
  • Curate and manage user-generated content for use across marketing channels
  • Maintain and assist with content calendars and trackers for global visibility
  • Assist with compiling social performance reports, summarising engagement trends and key learnings

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with teams across Europe, North America, and Australia to support global content alignment
  • Act as a liaison between social, marketing, PR, retail and product teams to ensure messaging and content assets are consistent
  • Help manage the rollout of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and global initiatives

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years in a content, social media, or marketing coordination role (automotive or tech industry experience is a plus)
  • Organisation: Ability to coordinate multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines within a fast-paced marketing environment with an eye for detail
  • Creative Awareness: Comfortable working with creative assets and providing feedback on visuals and copy
  • Social Media Knowledge: Understanding of major platforms and differences (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and their best practices
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable tracking basic performance data and identifying key trends
  • Proactive Approach: A self-starter eager to learn and grow within a global marketing environment
  • Teamwork: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple regions and departments

Nice to have:

  • Ability to travel for content shoots, events, or team meetings (own transport is beneficial)
  • Experience working with international teams or coordinating campaigns across regions such as the US or Europe
  • Experience collaborating with influencers, creators, or managing agency relationships.
  • Video editing skills (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar)
  • Videography or content creation experience
  • Familiarity with paid social or ads management (e.g. Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads)
  • Experience using social media management or analytics tools (e.g. Sprout Social)
  • Interest in emerging tools and workflows, including AI-assisted content or productivity tools
  • Understanding of creator-led marketing and social-first content strategies
  • Interest in automotive technology, cars, or driving culture
  • Candidates with examples of content they have created or managed will stand out
