Role Overview: Tag is a Global creative and production agency, working across different industry sectors, with some of the most renowned brands. As the Business Director for Tag in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, with a particular focus on driving business growth, and fostering a culture of creativity and excellence within the team. You will play a pivotal role in building and further establishing our presence in the market, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Servicing & Growth:
- Deliver business development efforts to acquire new clients and expand our client portfolio in Hong Kong.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention of existing client base.
- Collaborate with the APAC regional leadership team to develop tailored solutions that meet the needs of clients in the market.
- Support the development and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and visibility.
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry partnerships and represent Tag as a thought leader and advocate for creativity and innovation.
Strategic Leadership:
- Feed into and support Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives in Hong Kong.
- Provide visionary leadership to the team, inspiring creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
- Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform strategic decision-making.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including financial management (P&L, forecasting etc.), resource allocation, and project delivery.
- Implement processes and systems to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality of work.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
Team Development:
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the direct reports, empowering them to excel in their roles.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and the broader organization.
Brand Building and Marketing:
- Represent Tag as a thought leader and advocate for creativity and innovation in the market.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and visibility.
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the creative industry
- Deep understanding of the Hong Kong market, including cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth and profitability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required.
