Location: Remote, with occasional time in our Ubud studio.
CARINA HARDY is a jewelry studio based in Bali. Our pieces are carved by hand in gold and silver and
begin as conversations—between two people, between hands and material. Language plays an
important role in how the brand lives in the world. We are looking for a writer who can help shape and
extend that language.
Not traditional marketing copy. Something quieter. More precise.
The Role
Part-time brand writer working across storytelling, campaigns, and communication. You will work
closely with the founders and creative team to translate ideas, design concepts, and philosophy into
language that moves fluidly across the brand.
Responsibilities
• Brand narrative: Brand philosophy and storytelling; editorial writing about process, craft, and
design; founder voice and studio narratives.
• Campaigns and collections: Collection introductions; campaign concepts and storytelling; naming
collections, pieces, and initiatives.
• Social and editorial: Instagram captions and social storytelling; editorial text accompanying
photography and video.
• Website and product writing: Product descriptions; collection pages; website copy and
microcopy.
• Email communication: Collection launches; client updates and announcements; studio and brand
communications.
• Press and collaborations: Press materials and founder quotes; collaboration announcements and
narratives.
• Client experience: Packaging text; client communication; event invitations and materials.
You
You care deeply about language. You may have worked at a creative agency, magazine, design studio,
or fashion brand. You understand that the right sentence often says less, not more. You are
comfortable moving between poetic fragments and clear editorial writing. An interest in art, literature,
design, or craftsmanship is a strong plus.
Working Style
Part-time and flexible. Remote work is possible, though spending time in the Ubud studio occasionally
is valuable.
Compensation
Compensation is highly competitive for the right candidate.
