We’re looking for a Brand Strategist to join our Sydney team. Someone who can combine analytical thinking with strong writing craft, strategic rigour and a genuine interest in business, behaviour and communication.

This is a role for someone who enjoys shaping the foundations of brands: uncovering audience insights, defining architecture and positioning, developing messaging systems and helping brands communicate with greater clarity, consistency and impact.

You’ll work closely with our strategy, creative, design, account management and digital teams to translate research and insights into thoughtful brand platforms, communication approaches and creative direction across a wide range of sectors and channels.

We’re looking for someone who can move comfortably between strategic thinking and practical application, whether facilitating a workshop, writing messaging, shaping a campaign approach or presenting strategic recommendations to a client.

At Fuller, strategists are deeply involved in the creative process. You’ll collaborate closely with writers, designers, producers and creatives to ensure ideas remain grounded in insight and connected to the bigger brand picture.

We’re particularly interested in people with:

  • 7-10 years experience in brand, communications or strategic roles
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Experience developing positioning, messaging and tone of voice frameworks
  • Confidence facilitating workshops and stakeholder conversations
  • A strong understanding of integrated communications across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Curiosity about culture, behaviour and emerging communication trends
  • The ability to simplify complexity into clear strategic direction

Experience with research methodologies, stakeholder engagement and integrated communication planning will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone thoughtful, collaborative and strategically rigorous who cares about the quality of ideas, the craft of communication and the impact creative work can have.
