Our client is a growing food & drinks company moving into scale-up phase with an exciting portfolio of dessert brands. A subsidiary of a leading European food group, it is now seeking an exceptional Brand Manager to lead brand strategy, innovation, and consumer engagement. 🔦 Position Overview
As Brand Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the company's future direction as it aims to become the UKs leading desserts company. You'll develop a short and longer-term innovation & portfolio strategy, identify market whitespaces, and champion disruptive ideas that drive category growth. Working across NPD, EPD, packaging development, and go-to-market plans, you'll translate consumer & category insights into actionable strategies. You'll also lead in-store activations, digital & social campaigns – managing cross-functional teams, and ensure all projects deliver on time and within budget

📒 What you’ll be doing from Day 1
- Managing the brand P&L, working alongside the Head of Marketing to deliver revenue, profit and share goals
- Defining innovation & portfolio strategy aligned with consumer trends and business objectives
- Identifying whitespace opportunities and developing NPD pipeline plans
- Leading disruptive campaign development to recruit new and younger consumers to the category
- Managing projects from concept through to launch, including recipe development and packaging
- Analysing and reporting on consumer, category, and customer performance trends
- Translating data insights into actionable marketing strategies and business recommendations
- Developing and executing disruptive in-store activation and digital campaigns
- Collaborating with Sales, Category, NPD, R&D, and Supply Chain teams for seamless delivery
- Building robust business cases for innovation projects, tracking delivery against timelines
🌟What we are looking for
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ robust experience in FMCG brand marketing, ideally with a passion for food & drinks
- Strong understanding and practical experience of brand building, innovation, and portfolio management
- Proven experience with data systems such as Nielsen, IRI and/or Kantar
- Track record of developing and executing innovative multi-channel campaigns, working with agency partners
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights into strategy
- Proven project management skills, managing multiple stakeholders and deliverables
- Creative mindset with hands-on approach to execution, and real commercial savvy
