The Opportunity
We are seeking a Brand Manager for Cake Beauty. This is a critical, high-impact role responsible for supporting the Brand Director in driving the day-to-day management, execution, and momentum of the brand. This is a hands-on role for a true go-getter — someone energized by pace, creativity, and ownership — who thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.
The Brand Manager will play a central role in bringing innovation to life, supporting launches, managing core business initiatives, and ensuring flawless execution across functions and timelines. This role requires strong prioritization, agility, and resourcefulness, as well as a genuine passion for hair and body care, trends, and product performance.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Execution & Support
- Support the Brand Director in executing brand strategy, priorities, and annual plans
- Manage day-to-day brand initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment stay on track
- Help translate consumer insights, trends, and performance data into actionable brand recommendations
- Maintain brand standards and consistency across all touchpoints
Portfolio & Innovation Support:
- Support innovation development from concept through launch, partnering with Product Development, Regulatory, and Operations
- Assist in managing project timelines, stage gates, and cross-functional inputs to ensure on-time, in-full launches
- Bring curiosity and growing expertise in formulas, ingredients, and performance claims to support product storytelling
- Help assess innovation and core initiatives for brand fit, relevance, and commercial impact
Communication & Launch Execution:
- Support go-to-market planning for innovation and key initiatives across Amazon and retail channels
- Partner with Marketing Communications to execute campaigns across digital, retail media, PR, influencer, and in-store
- Help develop launch briefs, product messaging, and sell-in materials
- Ensure executional excellence across content, packaging, and campaign touchpoints
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, E-commerce, Operations, Creative, and Marketing Communications teams to support brand priorities
- Support retailer needs, presentations, and follow-ups in partnership with the Brand Director
- Track action items, decisions, and next steps to keep projects moving forward
Performance Tracking & Analysis
- Monitor brand performance using POS, Amazon analytics, and internal reporting
- Support post-launch reviews and performance recaps, identifying key learnings and opportunities
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasts, and marketing investment management
Key Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of brand management or marketing experience within beauty, haircare, or adjacent CPG categories
- Demonstrated passion for beauty and haircare, with a strong interest in trends, products, and formulas
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create clear, visually compelling, and well-structured decks that tell a concise story
- Comfortable working in Excel, with the ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with urgency, ambiguity, and evolving priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Additional Job Details:
- Location: 4 days on-site at 100 New Park Place in Vaughan, ON.
- Posting Type: Existing vacancy
- Compensation: Annual base salary of $80k – $115k
- In addition, this role is eligible for an annual target bonus of 10% based on individual and company performance. Note: actual compensation is determined by factors including skills required and experience.
