JOB PURPOSE

  • This role plays a critical part to take full ownership of the assigned category/ product lines by leading the brand development strategy & plan including budget responsibility, revenue growth management strategy, research and insights generation, future category opportunities and integrated marketing communication activation.
  • In addition, the job holder also plays an important role to build team capabilities, operating effectiveness, driving positive one team spirit, and establish a collaborative culture based on the Beiersdorf’s Core Values across the Marketing Team and within the organization.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY – MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

1.Marketing Strategy

  • Business Plan: Responsible for developing marketing strategy & growth strategy to achieve business objectives for assigned category/ product lines.
  • Conceptual Thinking: Localize & develop brand strategy & execution based on Regional strategy & local Consumers insights.

2.Consumer Understanding

  • Insights: Deeply & continuously listen and understand our consumer and customer and generate valuable insights through consumer data/ observation/ tracking to identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
  • Market Understand: Interpret Market researches from Regional and adapt properly to withdraw business implication.
  • Competition Watch: Regularly analyze and withdraw business implications.

3.Launch & Relaunch

  • Develop clear strategy & focus & back up scenarios in cooperation with different stakeholders for the launch/ relaunch owned.
  • Projects management: Ensure all NPDs are executed on-time in full and achieve all KPIs.
  • Stakeholders management: Well communicate with Regional, Local internal teams.

4.Media Strategy & Communication Plan

  • Communication strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive brand communication strategies based on brand objectives, allocated budget & resource.
  • KOL & Social: Develop strategy, execution plan & excellent conduct KOL & Social outreach.
  • Media Efficiency: Work well with agency for Media plan & execution, judge and track media plan and control target achievements post-campaign regularly.
  • Brand Creative Assets: Ensure all assets are adapted properly & promptly from Regional to local and aligned with Brand Image & Guideline & all stakeholders.

5.Assortment management

  • Assortment strategy: Utilize market understanding & consumer insight to form assortment strategy.
  • Pricing: Develop pricing strategies that align with brand positioning and market competitiveness.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT

1.Education

  • University degree in Marketing/Economics.

2.Working Experiences

  • Min. 3 year working experience in Brand Management or equivalent field in Marketing in FMCG (cosmetic is preferable).

3.Competencies

  • Extensive experience & relevant knowledge in personal & skin care.
  • Experience in consumer marketing.
  • Media Expertise (TV + Digital / Precision Marketing).
  • Consumer obsession.
  • Passion for growth & driving in market excellence.

4.Skills

  • Very fluent in English & Vietnamese in speaking & writing.
  • Can-do & supportive mindset.
  • Strong leadership; high collaborative spirit.
  • Strong entrepreneurial, passionate and ownership mindset.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, sense of urgency.
  • Effective planning and project/time management.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation skills being persuasive & effective.
  • High creative to adapt creative properly to all platforms and other requirements.
  • Strong communications skill with internal & external, especially with Celebrity, KOLs
