Qualifications

  • 5+ years in brand design, brand strategy, or creative direction – ideally with experience building or significantly evolving a brand
  • Strong visual design skills – able to produce polished brand assets independently; portfolio required
  • Experience managing official brand social media accounts with demonstrated audience growth and engagement
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills – able to write across formats from social posts to brand messaging
  • Strategic thinker who can articulate brand positioning, competitive differentiation, and target audience personas
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity – able to build playbooks from scratch
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Canva, or similar
  • Understanding of AI and tech culture, with familiarity in the ecosystem Studio operates in
  • Bonus: experience in a startup or creator economy company, motion or video design skills, and experience building a brand guide from scratch

Responsibilities

  • Define Studio's brand from scratch – visual identity, logo system, color palette, typography, illustration style, photography direction, motion and animation language, and brand guidelines
  • Develop Studio's brand voice and messaging framework – how the brand communicates across marketing, product, support, and social
  • Own and operate Studio's official social media accounts – content strategy, content creation, posting cadence, community engagement, and audience growth across platforms
  • Produce brand assets as needed – social graphics, ad creatives, landing page designs, pitch deck visuals, email templates, and partnership materials
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to align the product's design system with the external brand, evolving tokens and components where needed
  • Develop campaign concepts and creative direction for product launches, feature announcements, and growth initiatives
  • Establish brand QA processes – review outward-facing materials to ensure consistency across the organization
  • Track social media performance and refine content strategy based on insights and results
