About the Role

The Fragrance Group is seeking a Brand Activation Manager to lead the launch and ongoing consumer engagement strategy for a new brand initiative. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role at the intersection of experiential marketing, brand activation, influencer strategy, and social community management. The right person is equally comfortable building a strategy and executing it on the ground.

This role reports directly to the SVP of Sales with a dotted line to the Director of E-commerce and works closely with agency partners, internal creative resources, and cross-functional teams to bring the brand to life across every consumer touchpoint.

What You Will Own

Campaign and Activation Planning

  • Build and manage annual and seasonal brand activation calendars aligned with key marketing and launch milestones.
  • Develop integrated strategies across experiential, influencer, retail, and social channels.
  • Own timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept through execution.

Experiential and Event Marketing

  • Plan and execute live events, pop-ups, and brand experiences end to end.
  • Manage production logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure every activation reflects brand standards and delivers measurable consumer engagement.

Social and Community Management

  • Own the brand's social presence and community engagement strategy across platforms.
  • Develop content direction and manage the brand voice across all channels.
  • Stay ahead of cultural trends and ensure the brand shows up authentically and relevantly in the social landscape.
  • Comfort with appearing on camera for brand moments, activations, and ambassador content is required.

Influencer and Partnerships

  • Identify, develop, and manage influencer partnerships and brand ambassador relationships.
  • Execute product seeding, gifting, and engagement programs.
  • Ensure all creator content aligns with brand tone, standards, and compliance.

Retail and In-Store Activations

  • Support retailer collaborations and rollout activations across key domestic partners.
  • Coordinate execution toolkits for field teams and ensure consistent brand representation across all retail touchpoints.

Project Management

  • Own the operational backbone of this role.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, agency relationships, vendor timelines, and cross-functional deliverables simultaneously.
  • Maintain accountability across every activation from brief through reporting.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track performance across events, influencer programs, and social channels.
  • Compile post-activation reports and apply insights to continuously optimize future programs.
  • Present results and recommendations to senior leadership on a regular cadence.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in brand activation, experiential marketing, or a closely related field.
  • Background in beauty, fragrance, fashion, or premium consumer goods strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to own multi-channel activations and cross-functional projects from concept through execution.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience owning activation budgets and vendor relationships with the ability to forecast costs and negotiate effectively.
  • Comfort with social media and community management with an understanding of how to build brand presence authentically across platforms.
  • Comfort being on camera for brand moments and ambassador content. This role will be a visible face of the brand in the market.
  • Willingness to travel 20 to 30 percent of the time domestically and internationally.

Location and Work Model

Onsite at New York City headquarters in Herald Square four days per week. Travel expectation 20 to 30 percent for activations, events, and key meetings.

Compensation

  • Base salary range of $115,000 to $140,000 with flexibility for exceptional candidates plus performance bonus.
