About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, driven, and highly organized Associate Director of Organic Social to lead and scale our organic social offering across a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is equal parts strategic leadership, operational excellence, and growth innovation, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
As a key stakeholder, you will own the organic social function, shaping best-in-class strategies that drive engagement, community growth, and measurable business impact. You will partner closely with paid media, creative, and lead client calls to ensure organic social plays a critical role in full-funnel marketing success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth Leadership
- Lead the development of holistic organic social strategies across platforms including Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit
- Manage the day-to-day and client facing comms and strategy for 2-3 organic social client accounts.
- Identify opportunities to scale audience growth, engagement, and brand affinity across client accounts
- Translate platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural insights into actionable strategies
- Establish organic social as a core growth lever within integrated marketing plans
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor one Social Strategist, with potential to scale the team over time
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance-driven thinking
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and development plans for team members
Process Development & Operational Excellence
- Build, refine, and standardize organic social processes, including:
- Client onboarding frameworks
- Content planning and publishing workflows
- Creative review and approval systems
- Content calendar management and governance
- Ensure seamless execution across multiple clients and platforms
Cross-Channel Collaboration
- Partner closely with Paid Social, Digital Creative Strategy teams to:
- Translate organic insights into paid media opportunities
- Identify high-performing content for paid amplification
- Align messaging across full-funnel campaigns
- Act as a key voice in integrated marketing strategy discussions
Performance & Insights
- Define KPIs and success metrics for organic social performance
- Analyze performance data to generate actionable insights and optimizations
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in organic social media strategy, preferably within an agency or high-growth brand environment
- Proven track record of building and scaling organic social accounts across multiple platforms
- Deep expertise in platforms including:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- TikTok
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and content best practices
- Experience with social media management and listening tools such as:
- Hootsuite
- Sprinklr
- Sprout Social or similar platforms

- Highly organized with exceptional project and process management skills
- Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of full-funnel marketing
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
- Strong communicator with experience presenting to clients and internal stakeholders
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented (“go-getter” mentality)
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with content creation, design, or video editing
- Familiarity with UGC strategy and creator-led content ecosystems
- Understanding of SEO integration within social content (e.g., keyword-driven captions)
- Experience working in a performance marketing or paid social-driven environment
