Job Summary
The Associate Director, Creative Strategy plays a critical leadership role in shaping and delivering innovative, insight-driven creative solutions across our media, commerce and event portfolio. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Event Production, Content, and Digital teams to conceptualize and execute compelling ideas that drive audience engagement and revenue growth, and bridges strategy, storytelling, and execution to ensure that every campaign, partnership, and experience aligns with brand objectives while pushing creative boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Concept Development
- Lead the development of integrated creative strategies for brand clients collaborating for campaigns, sponsorships, and live/virtual event experiences
- Translate client objectives and audience insights into innovative, scalable creative concepts
- Craft compelling narratives, pitch decks, and proposals that differentiate our offerings
- Ensure consistency of brand voice and experience across platforms
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Creatively lead the Sponsorship and Brand Partnerships teams during RFPs and pitch processes
- Present strategic creative concepts to clients and executive stakeholders
Campaign & Experience Execution
- Oversee creative execution from concept through production and post-event reporting
- Collaborate with production, design, content, and digital teams (internal and external) to bring ideas to life
- Maintain quality control and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and guide creative strategists, designers, and cross-functional team members
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and creative excellence
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
Market & Industry Insights
- Monitor trends in media, experiential marketing, and audience engagement
- Leverage data, insights, and analytics to refine creative strategies
- Identify new formats, technologies, and partnership opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Media, Creative disciplines or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in creative strategy, experiential marketing, media, or event production
- Proven track record of developing integrated campaigns in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and pitch development skills
- Deep understanding of audience engagement, brand positioning, and sponsorship integration
- Highly organized with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines
