Digital Natives is a social‑first creative agency based in East London. Our agile and rapidly growing team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors and account managers work together to create impactful content for a roster of global brands across FMCG, Finance, Fashion and Beauty.
We are looking for an Assistant Producer to join our production team. This role supports Producers in the planning and delivery of creative projects across social and digital platforms. The Assistant Producer plays an important role in coordinating resources, supporting shoot production, and helping maintain smooth day‑to‑day production operations across the studio.
In addition to production support, the role contributes to office logistics, studio administration, and production planning to ensure the wider team and creative output run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support
• Support Producers in the planning and delivery of social and digital content productions
• Assist with pre‑production tasks, including scheduling, call sheets, logistics, and shoot preparation
• Coordinate production timelines and ensure deliverables stay on schedule
• Provide on‑set production support during shoots where required
• Assist with sourcing and managing freelance crew, suppliers, and external vendors
Production Planning & Budget Support
• Assist Producers with the creation and maintenance of production budgets and cost trackers
• Work with budget templates to help prepare estimates and update project costs as productions progress
• Support the tracking of production spend, invoices, and freelancer costs against approved budgets
• Help create and maintain production timelines and schedules
• Assist with pre‑production documentation including call sheets, shoot schedules, and production packs
• Maintain and update production templates and internal documentation
Resource & Project Coordination
• Maintain and manage the internal agency resource calendar
• Work closely with creative, design, edit and account teams to allocate resources effectively
• Support implementation and use of project management and production tracking tools
• Help track project progress and communicate updates across departments
Studio & Office Logistics
• Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the studio and production environment
• Coordinate studio bookings, equipment use, and production logistics
• Assist with office and production administration related to ongoing projects
• Help coordinate production materials, deliveries, and studio requirements
Communication & Collaboration
• Act as a coordination point between internal teams and external partners
• Support clear communication between creative, production, and account teams
• Help manage stakeholder expectations and ensure projects progress efficiently
Skills & Experience
• 2–4 years experience working in production, content, or a creative agency environment
• Experience supporting film, content, or digital productions
• Familiarity with multi‑channel or 360 campaigns and social‑first content
• Strong organisational and scheduling skills
• Confidence using Excel / Google Sheets or similar resource planning tools
• Experience working with freelancers, suppliers, or production vendors
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work quickly, stay organised, and remain calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work
Remuneration
£29,000 – £32,000
25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
