Assistant Manager, Brand Engagement – Beauty Jobs in El Segundo, CA at Adecco
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Assistant Manager, Brand Engagement to support integrated communications across social media, influencer partnerships, and PR activations within the beauty industry.
This role will work closely with senior leadership to bring the brand’s voice to life across digital channels, ensuring a cohesive, elevated presence that aligns with a premium positioning. The ideal candidate has experience managing social platforms, collaborating with agencies, and executing content strategies in beauty, skincare, or a related consumer category.
- Through January 2027 for now
- $29.79/hr – weekly pay
- Monday through Friday – 3 days a week on site
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Strategy
- Create and execute engaging, platform-specific content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels
- Develop visually compelling assets including photos, videos, and graphics aligned with a premium brand aesthetic
- Ensure messaging reflects both innovation and authority within the beauty space
Content Calendar & Planning
- Own and manage the social content calendar across all channels
- Align content with product launches, campaigns, and key marketing initiatives
- Maintain a consistent, high-quality publishing cadence
Agency Management
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for social and influencer agencies
- Provide clear creative briefs, strategic direction, and ongoing feedback
- Ensure all deliverables align with brand standards and timelines
Community Engagement
- Oversee engagement across social platforms (especially Instagram and TikTok)
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely and brand-appropriate responses
- Foster a positive, engaging digital community
Influencer & PR Support
- Assist in executing PR activations, partnerships, and media opportunities
- Lead product seeding programs and influencer collaborations
- Track performance and optimize campaigns based on insights
Social Listening & Trend Monitoring
- Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitive activity
- Conduct social listening to gather consumer insights and inform strategy
- Recommend content adaptations to stay relevant and competitive
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance metrics across social platforms
- Deliver regular reporting with actionable insights
- Measure effectiveness of campaigns, influencer initiatives, and content performance
Team Collaboration & Support
- Provide guidance to junior team members or trainees
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling content and managing accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and PR teams
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in social media, brand engagement, PR, or digital marketing within beauty, skincare, or lifestyle
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Experience working with or at agencies (required)
- Proven experience managing content calendars and executing campaigns
- Knowledge of influencer marketing, PR activations, and product seeding
- Experience with social listening and analytics tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and premium consumer brands
