Overall Job Purpose
Assist on islandwide planning, design and design management works in support of SDC’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist on design ideation, research, stakeholders’ engagements and feasibility studies to ensure SDC’s design approaches and execution are ahead of the curve in the market.
- Assist on formulation of Design Brief and Urban Design Guidelines to guide planning and development works.
- Provide administrative support, minute-taking, prepare approval papers, documents and drawings etc.
- Assist on the planning, review and facilitation of tenancy works spanning from land preparation, marketing exercise and design management, taking into account holistic experience planning and considerations.
- Work with ministries, authorities, SDC’s stakeholders, consultants and contractors at various stages of planning and development work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with major emphasis on Architecture, Urban Planning or Urban Design
- Master’s degree of above equivalent will be an advantage
- Software skills – Autocad, Sketchup with real time rendering, Photoshop, Video-editing, Powerpoint and Microsoft Office
- Experience in AI Architectural rendering software, BIM, Revit will be an added advantage
- Strong design flair and a creative problem solver
- Enthusiastic self-starter and a good team player
- Appetite for learning
- Tech-savvy
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Efficient time management
This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
