Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, proactive Artist Talent Manager to join our team and work closely with emerging and developing singers/songwriters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in artist development, has a deep understanding of the music industry, and wants to help artists elevate their careers. This is a remote, independent contractor role with performance-based compensation and potential for long-term collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide singers/songwriters in career strategy, branding, and artistic development
- Provide day-to-day support for content planning, release schedules, and promotional campaigns
- Facilitate introductions and relationships with venues, collaborators, and industry partners
- Monitor analytics and audience engagement to optimize growth opportunities
- Support negotiation and review of contracts, offers, and partnership opportunities (artist maintains final approval)
- Serve as a trusted advisor while respecting the artist’s creative freedom
Qualifications:
- Experience managing or supporting musicians, singers, songwriters, or other music creators
- Strong knowledge of music industry trends, social media platforms, and marketing for artists
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently
- Professional, discrete, and supportive of artists’ creative vision
