Artist Manager Jobs in Gurugram, Haryana, India at MCI India

We are looking for a dynamic Artist Manager to oversee and coordinate our roster of live artists and on‑ground performers for corporate, brand, and experiential events. The Artist Manager will act as the primary liaison between artists, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and professional representation of talent across India.

 

Key Responsibilities

Artist Roster & Development

  • Maintain and grow a diverse roster of live artists (musicians, performers, influencers, etc.) aligned to brand and corporate‑event requirements.
  • Monitor artist development, content quality, and audience engagement; suggest upskilling or content strategies where required.



Booking & Scheduling

  • Identify and secure performance opportunities, including corporate events, roadshows, store openings, and brand activations.
  • Manage artist calendars, schedules, and travel plans, ensuring conflict‑free dates and optimal availability for key markets.

Contract & Commercial Management

  • Negotiate contracts, performance fees, rider terms, and brand‑collaboration agreements on behalf of the company.
  • Track payments, invoicing, and budgets for each artist project, ensuring timely settlements and compliance with internal finance processes.

Logistics & Event Coordination

  • Coordinate travel, hospitality, sound‑tech requirements, and on‑ground execution for artists across multiple cities and venues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for artists during events, resolving last‑minute issues and ensuring high‑quality performance delivery.

 

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the key liaison between artists, internal teams (creative, production, marketing), and clients to align expectations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with agencies, venues, labels, and third‑party partners to expand the artist network.

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

  • Ensure all artist engagements comply with safety, legal, and contractual guidelines; maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Provide regular updates, performance reports, and ROI insights on artist engagements to the Senior Manager.

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline (Event Management, Marketing, Media, Performing Arts, etc.).
  • 2–5 years of experience in artist management, talent management, event coordination, or live‑entertainment (agency, brand, or production background preferred).
  • Prior experience of managing live artists for corporate or brand‑led events in India will be highly valued.

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of live entertainment, artist ecosystems, and Indian event markets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills with polished client‑facing demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking ability to manage multiple artists, schedules, and cities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace, familiarity with basic finance and contract documentation.
  • Comfortable with travel across India and working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
