Our client, a healthcare and pharmaceutical-focused creative agency, is seeking an Art Supervisor/Associate Creative Director (Art) for a freelance/contract opportunity. This hybrid role calls for a hands-on, tactical creative leader with deep experience in pharma/HCP (healthcare provider) advertising, who is equally comfortable executing design work directly in Figma as guiding creative direction at a higher level.
- This is an ongoing freelance assignment. Pay rate range: $60-$70 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide art direction and creative leadership across pharma/HCP campaigns and deliverables
- Work hands-on in Figma to execute and refine design work directly, rather than relying solely on direction to junior staff
- Balance supervisory/creative leadership responsibilities with tactical, in-the-weeds design execution
- Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure work meets brand, regulatory, and strategic requirements specific to the pharma/healthcare space
- Guide and mentor junior creative team members while remaining actively involved in day-to-day production
- Ensure consistency and quality of art direction across HCP-focused creative deliverables
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience in pharma, healthcare, or HCP-focused advertising/agency work
- Strong, hands-on proficiency in Figma
- Demonstrated experience operating at both an Art Supervisor and Associate Creative Director level
- Comfort balancing high-level creative direction with tactical, hands-on execution
- Strong agency background with experience managing creative output under client and regulatory considerations specific to healthcare/pharma
- Strong portfolio demonstrating art direction and design work within the pharma/HCP space
