Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $70,000- $80,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy.
The Role

Art Director’s play a vital part in the success of our creative department. In this role, you will be working directly with a copywriter and a cross-functional agency team to deliver multi-channel programs of different sizes.
The right candidate will be a strong conceptual thinker and have a passion for creative ideas, popular culture, emerging technologies, language and design trends. It’s essential to have a collaborative team spirit and the ability to take direction and solve problems. A strong design sensibility and attention to detail is must.
Responsibilities
- provide both visual (art direction) and conceptual expertise.
- partner with Copywriter to develop creative concepts that meet the project’s overall objectives
- implement & incorporate strategy from the Brief and direction from the Creative Director
- work with the Creative Director, Planner and Account Service team to conceive, sell and execute bold, persuasive messages for our clients
- brainstorming and creative planning sessions
- ensuring concepts contain tasteful, creative & beautifully crafted art direction and with material accuracy
- prepare and refine concepts for internal and client presentations and provide rationale behind these concepts
- participate in project update/status meetings with project team as required
- keep up to date and informed on the best work within our industry, both home & abroad
Qualifications
- Have 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role within an agency environment
- Have strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Be solutions oriented and a true team player
- Be comfortable working in an integrated agency environment.
