We're seeking a socially native Art Director to lead creative development, and shape the visual identity and cultural voice of brands across social platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong conceptual thinking, exceptional design craft, and the ability to move seamlessly from idea to execution.
JOB DUTIES:
- The Art Director will work alongside Creative, Strategy, Account/Brand, and Production teams to develop breakthrough campaigns and content.Lead ideation, development and execution of social-first creative ideas rooted in strategic insights
- Concept and design high-visibility social campaigns across social platforms
- Define and evolve visual tone across touchpoints
- Stay ahead of cultural trends, platform shifts and emerging creative tools including AI
- Design decks that clearly and persuasively sell creative ideasArt direct photo and video shoots, guiding visual direction from pre-production through post and edit
- Extend social ideas and brand campaigns into experiential activations, merch moments, and stunt-worthy executions
- Collaborate closely with Copywriters, Content Creators, Strategists, Producers, and Account teams throughout the creative process
- Maintain excellence in craft across typography, layout, color, and composition
- Develop quick-turn/reactive social-first content under tight timelinesManage multiple projects simultaneously
SUCCESS OUTCOMES:
Within the first 6–12 months:
- Elevate social visual identity for key projects; launch high-impact social campaigns that drive measurable engagement and brand relevance
- Improve creative performance benchmarks (engagement rate, shares, saves, video completion, etc.) through strong concept and craft
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of conceptual creative development experience in brand marketing, with strong knowledge of social and digital platforms
- Portfolio showcasing original social-first campaigns and culturally relevant work
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Figma (motion design & AI tool experience a plus)
- Experience applying and evolving established brand guidelines
- Strong presentation skills and confidence articulating creative rationale to clients & internal teams
- A strong sense of ownership over ideas, projects, and campaigns from concept through execution, with the ambition to grow into a creative leadership roleAbility to manage multiple pieces of business in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience art directing photography and video production
- Deep understanding of social platforms, internet culture, and evolving media behaviors
- Culture junkie – actively engaged in design, food, fashion, music, art, and digital communities
- Passion for the craft and a desire to create big, bold campaigns that break the internet
