Job Opportunity: Brand Designer – Merchandise (BKFC)

Brand: BKFC – Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship

BKFC is the fastest-growing combat sports brand, and we’re building out a new merchandise program that needs a Brand Designer – Merchandise who can define and execute the visual direction for BKFC apparel and product lines. This is a hands-on role focused on merch graphics, apparel design, branding, and creative identity.

If you love designing bold, impactful graphics for apparel, accessories, and branded merchandise — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Design merch graphics for apparel (tees, hoodies, headwear), accessories, and collectibles.
  • Develop brand direction for BKFC merchandise — visual themes, seasonal looks, stylistic rules.
  • Create graphic systems that translate across fight tees, walkout apparel, event merch, and retail drops.
  • Build artwork for screenprinting, embroidery, patches, specialty finishes, heat-press, etc.
  • Produce detailed mockups for line sheets, product decks, and retailer presentations.
  • Design athlete-driven merch capsules that reflect fighter identity and fan culture.
  • Collaborate with 223’s production and sourcing teams to ensure graphics translate cleanly to finished product.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all merchandise releases and campaigns.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong portfolio showing merch graphics, apparel art, or streetwear/sports branding.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (InDesign/Figma a plus).
  • Experience designing for sportswear, fight brands, entertainment, or streetwear.
  • Understanding of production constraints (screenprint, DTG, embroidery, etc.).
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to create cohesive visual direction — not just single designs.
  • Fast, clean execution with high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, drop-driven environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with athlete merchandise or licensing.
  • Interest in combat sports, UFC, boxing, wrestling, MMA, or niche fight culture.
  • Motion design skills (simple product reveals or hype assets).
  • Experience in packaging or retail display graphics.
