Job Summary:
The Account Director will be responsible for driving the successful operation of our beauty client within the region where we provide end-to-end creative production services. It is critical the role has a strong influencing, negotiation and commercial acumen that is able to drive and sustain change while enabling best practice within the client team as well as with the dedicated Tag team.
Responsibilities:
- Fully manage and take ownership of the dedicated client within remit, including managing creative production services across all media channels, ensuring brand consistency and improved speed to market
- Establish, develop and maintain long term relationships with key senior stakeholders within the client account and proactively develop new relationships across the account as appropriate.
- Management of the client P&L – ensuring effective use of the yearly budget
- Oversee direct reporting of Account Managers, while working closely with creative team to ensure highest quality delivery to our client
- Ensure clear objectives are set and monitored for all members of the team, and act as a role model for all employees responsible for servicing the client operations
- Oversee (and assist with) the procurement of clients marketing collateral, delivering on time, to specification, to quality and to contractual targets
- Project management of campaigns and components
- Develop and maintain a deep awareness of our products and systems and ensure that this awareness drives the discovery and design process
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Communication, Advertising or Marketing
- At least 8-10 years of experience in a related field, with exposure in production setting and background in POSM, displays, supplier and stakeholder managements
- Prior experience in an agency is desirable
- Experience in beauty/luxury retail is preferrable
- Shopper marketing and significant print industry experience in either purchasing or production management; strong POSM knowledge an essential
- Experience of working closely with agencies, and inputting at the design stages
- Proactive communication and interpersonal skills at a very high level
- Credible at all levels within client, partner and agency organizations
- Strong commercial awareness, ability to plan and negotiate
- Dynamic, yet detail-orientated outlook
- Self motivated, able to work with the minimum of supervision
- Capable of developing and implementing plans and strategy
- Fluent in Cantonese & Mandarin, written and spoken, and strong English communication skills
- Able to manage and motivate team
