not.CGI is growing the roster of 2D illustrators we work with. We need someone who can take an illustration brief from concept through to final art, clean linework, considered color, and files structured for the next step of production.
Tileset experience is a strong plus. So is shipped work in video games, characters, environments, UI, props, anything that has lived in a real production pipeline. We're looking for range, not narrow specialization.
We're more interested in the strength of your eye and the cleanliness of your files than in matching a reference deck. You bring the look; we bring the brief and the production support.
The setup:
- Freelance, project-based
- Pay per asset at locked rates, not hourly
- Full creative ownership of design and structure
- Layered, production-ready source files delivered with every asset
